Support and Training

Lawn Doctor’s commitment to comprehensive initial and ongoing training and support stems back to our first franchisee.  Through our training process all of our franchisees learn what they need to know in every area of their new business, from agronomy to marketing, and compiling accurate proposals to sales.

INITIAL TRAINING

Training begins with an introductory call from your Regional Business Consultant followed by a two-week classroom and hands-on training program at our national headquarters.  During these two weeks we’ll focus our training on:

  • Marketing

  • Sales

  • Service

  • Technology

  • Agronomy

  • Administration

TWO-YEAR FIELD TRAINING

As a new franchisee, we stick with you to ensure you have the answers you need to keep your business growing smoothly.  We do this in two primary ways:

  • Regional Business Consultant – When you are a new franchisee, you are assigned a Regional     Business Consultant who will be your primary point of contact throughout the life of our business relationship. They are there to help answer any questions you have about any aspect of your business.

  • On-Site Consultations – Every eight weeks for your first two years in business, you and your    Regional Business Consultant meet to discuss and optimize your operating plan performance, identify new areas for growth opportunity, and to develop new skills.

ONGOING TRAINING AND SUPPORT

As a company that is constantly developing newer and better services and proprietary industry-leading equipment, it is our responsibility to ensure that our franchisees master the evolving operations and development of their business.  Ongoing training is provided through a number of ways:

  • Quarterly regional business meetings

  • Our Annual Conference

  • Weekly Webinars

  • Our E-Learning platform, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

  • Turf field days
