Footprints Floors represents everything that is right in the flooring installation and restoration industries. We provide a consultative estimate to our customers with no hard closes and a business model where franchise owners can start making money the week after they finish training.

1. How did the franchise get started and what is the background of your executives?
Footprints Floors Founder and CEO, Bryan Park, grew up in South Denver. He attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and served this country in Omaha, Nebraska. Like most who serve, Bryan’s military experience strengthened his belief in, and commitment to, integrity, duty, and leadership.
When Bryan and wife Kelli settled in Littleton, Colorado they started a family, having three energetic girls and three very big dogs — all of whom were unforgiving on his wood floors. When looking into the various flooring restoration and installation options available to him, Bryan noticed that the industry was highly inefficient and unscrupulous. It was nearly impossible to find providers who worked with a true sense of honesty and fairness. Changing this was not only an opportunity for Bryan, but it was practically a calling.
2. What sets you apart from your competitors?
Footprints Floors does not have any direct competitors as we are extremely unique within the flooring industry. Ultimately, we are a labor company as our owners do not have showrooms or inventory and only oversee the installation of floors. Because of this, owners partner with big box flooring stores such as Home Depot and Floor and Décor who make their margins off selling the actual flooring where we make our margins off the installation.
3. Why a franchise vs. a startup or existing business?
There are two large reasons to franchise with Footprints Floors over starting your own business. These are corporates assistance with finding you customers and our corporate call center.
Lead Generation Assistance: Our corporate team is dedicated to ensuring the success of Franchise owners by helping them obtain customers before the business even launches. We assist in lead generation in a few different ways. Franchise owners inherit our, 11 year, 4.8-star rating on Yelp as well as 500+ reviews, Owners automatically receive an A+ ranking on BBB, we create and manage 10 specific online construction portals that have been tested by our corporate locations, Google AdWords is turned on and managed by the corporate team, we manage all social media platforms, and our preferred partners design websites specific to each location and complete all upfront and continuous SEO work.
Call Center: Once the corporate team generates customers from the various platforms above, they are all directed through our call center which answers all incoming calls, sets customer appointments that meet the franchise owner’s schedule and directs inquiries to the appropriate owner based on territory. Not only does this significantly reduce the workload for franchise owners but it also guarantees every customer’s first contact with Footprints Floors is professional and handled correctly.
4. Can you describe a typical day of a franchise owner?
Conducting sales estimates and consultations with customers
Collecting contracts, deposits, and final payment
Managing general bookkeeping and administration tasks
Creating and maintaining business relationships with subcontractors and vendors
5. Can you describe an ideal owner for Footprints Floors.
At Footprints Floors, we are looking for individuals who share our vision for providing industry-leading service. They are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eventually, want to grow into multiple units while bringing customers in their markets a one-of-a-kind flooring product and experience.
Franchise Owners do not need flooring experience or knowledge as they do not perform the flooring services themselves, they oversee the business from a management standpoint. Because of this, they must be problem solvers who are able to stay organized with a myriad of tasks and demands. They also must love people and be able to provide excellent customer service. We are also looking for the following characteristics:

6. Tell us a little about Footprints Floors support and training program.
Our initial training program is held at our corporate headquarters in Colorado. It consists of 56 hours in a classroom and 67-hour on-the-job training. Owners will learn everything they need to know about sales, operations, subcontractor crew management, our support and computer systems, marketing and advertising, and our vendors.
We see it as our responsibility to help franchise owners maximize their revenues and productivity. Because of this, outside of lead generation assistance and our call center we also offer regular support calls, webinars, and training modules. We also foster a support network among our existing franchise owners. Like any family, our owners constantly look out for each other offering a unique support system rarely found in the franchise industry.
7. What is the total investment for Footprints Floors?
Our total investment is $65,500- $91,600 with most owners recouping this amount in 3-6 months!
8. Do I have to own a brick and mortar location? If so, can you tell us a little about that.
We do not! Footprints Floors is home-based allowing owners to reap the benefits of a low overhead.
9. How much can I make owning a Footprints Floors?
Footprints Floors is financially lucrative due to our low investment, low overhead, and highly in-demand services. Our system-wide average in 2018 shows Average Gross Sales of $831,682 with our highest performing territories averaging $1.3 Million!**
